Not everyone has a laptop, but these days almost everyone who could need one has their very own laptop. However, not too many people are aware of touch screen laptops. But also, the swivel on which the screen is attached is a flimsy hinge even for a laptop since most standard laptops screen hinges are already flimsy.

Fortunately for us, manufacturers are working on ways to improve durability in both departments. Also, the accuracy of recognizing the touch points is improving immensely.

Since the weakness is in the physical build of the laptop, a good warranty is probably beneficial for many people. It can be expensive to repair, and usually too much money to buy another. Extended warranty packages are usually very affordable with any laptop.
